AVP Pro Beach Volleyball has signed a 3 year deal with Amazon Prime Video.
AVP posted the details on their website:
The AVP and the sport of beach volleyball are taking a new step to grow the game and we are beyond excited for this amazing partnership with Amazon Prime Video.
This three-year, global deal will bring the AVP, the athletes and our sport to over 100 million Amazon Prime members each and every tournament, expanding our fan base and inspiring people across the world to become a beach volleyball fan.
Although live match coverage will no longer be available for free on AVP.com, all Amazon Prime members will have a better viewing experience that gives more than just the matches. This new viewing experience will give fans the access they deserve and give athletes the spotlight they have earned.
The Amazon Prime Video experience for each tournament will give our fans:
– live match coverage
– expert commentary and analysis from legends of the game
– exclusive on-court interviews with AVP pros and coaches
– in-event shows with post-match commentary and discussions
– behind-the-scenes video and exclusive content
It’s time beach volleyball got the recognition and discussion it deserves, and Amazon Prime is making that happen!
