Doctor Who Is Coming To Amazon Prime

Beginning March 27, Amazon Prime Videowill be the exclusive US home for streaming Doctor Who.

Amazon and BBC America announced the deal yesterday that brings all 8 seasons of the modern Doctor Who series (plus holiday special episodes) to Amazon Prime.

The deal is a multi-year pact, and while the exact number of years wasn’t revealed it appears if you want to get your streaming Doctor Who fix anytime in the near future, you will have to spring for an Amazon Prime subscription.

The series had previous been available to stream on Netflix and Hulu Plus but those deals expired last month.
