SFN TV Now, Sony Vue & Sling TV Competitor Offering Free Trial

UPDATE 6/15/16: We have removed the previously posted lineup card as SFN TV Now has announced there will be a new lineup rolling out as the BETA comes to an end. SFN is in process of updating their website for new signups. Will we post the new lineup as soon as it is available.

Regional cable provider Southern Fibernet is launching a nationwide cord cutting skinny bundle service that very well could be big competition for Sony’s Vue and Dish’s Sling TV.

The service called SFN TV Now offers a variety of OTT streaming cable channels with no contract and focusing on specific categories.

Packages offered:

ATL Local 12 Channels $9.99. Local Atlanta networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX. (This package available only in Atlanta area)

KIDS 10 Channels $9.99. All your kids’ favorites including Disney, FreeForm, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, and more.

FAITH 10 Channels $4.99. Spiritual programming includes EWTN, TBN, Inspire, The Catholic Channel and more.

NEWS 17 Channels $9.99. All the news you can handle with C-Span, CNN, Fox News, HLN, The Weather Channel, OAN, and more.

SPORTS 17 Channels $19.99. All Never miss a game with favorites like ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN News, Fox Sports 1, MLB Network and more.

POPULAR 33 Channels $19.99. The SFN Popular Package includes all-time favorites like TBS, TNT, Food Network, HGTV, History and more.

MAX 98 Channels $48.99. With 98 Channels, SFN Max covers you from Lifetime to ESPN, TRU TV to CNBC and more.

MAX + LOCAL 110 Channels $58.99. Our largest channel package includes all of SFN MAX plus all local Atlanta networks. (This package available only in Atlanta area)

Current devices supported are Roku, AppleTV, iOS Mobile, and Android Mobile.

Some more info gleened from SFN TV Now’s Facebook page:

– It looks like you need at least 3 Mbps of download speed.
– Android TV devices such as the nVidia Shield TV are not currently supported, but it is in the pipeline.
– There services does not currently allow authentication too network specific apps.
